Here are some of the most Frequently Asked Questions we get about DIREWORLD SCARE PARK! If you have any questions that you do not see here, please let us know.

Do you charge for parking?

There is a $5 charge for parking.

How many DireWorld attractions are there?

There are a total of eight haunts. We also have the Ghost Town of Modoc and the Direstage Performances, which kinda make 9.

Are you allowed to dress up in a costume?

We encourage costumes on Halloween ONLY with just a few exceptions to keep everything safe and for identification purposes. No masks. No face paint/makeup. No prop/real weapons.

I have my tickets on my phone, do I need to print them out or can you scan them through my phone?

You can scan from your phone at the entrance.

Is Direworld family friendly?

We recommend they be over 12 but it’s up to the parents.

Do you guys accept credit/debit at the gate?

Yep

Can I enter the scare free zone, food court, Modoc and vendors without purchasing a ticket?

You must purchase a ticket to enter the park. Parents accompanying children that have purchased tickets may wait in the food court without purchasing a ticket. That is the only exception.

Where on the site grounds are you?

Go into parking Lot C at the cackling of the fairgrounds and follow it all the way back. We are a 3.5 acre outdoor theme park. Can’t miss it!

Do you have to buy the tickets online or can you pay when you get there?

You can also buy tickets at box office.

Will you be open during the rain?

Yes. We will only close if the weather gets too extreme in which case we’ll make an announcement.

Do I have to pay general admission if I’m just bringing my kids and not going in the haunts?

Yes. Tickets must be purchased for the minors going through the Attractions. Parental Guardians do not need to purchase tickets but must remain in the food court area.

Do you have DireWorld t-shirts available for sale?

The shirts are for sale at the merchandise booth during the event. It’s free to get in. The sizes are limited.

Is DireWorld Handicap Accessible?

5 of our 8 attractions are handicap accessible. 4 of them are available with general admission and one is available as an ad on. For the cost of general admission we offer persons with handicaps or disabilities 5 attractions, Malice, Dark Realm, Asylum, Deadlands and Keep Out. Persons with handicaps or disabilities also receive a free upgrade to Fast Pass which is good on the 4 premium haunts but unfortunately not an option at Keep Out. We are working to make our other attractions accessible.

Park opens at 7:30pm til the last victim is through!

*No admittance after 10pm even with pre-purchased online tickets.
